My Second Miracle Child

* Brigiette:-
On 11 April 2013 at 12:30am, at 35 weeks of pregnancy, my water broke with Brigiette.
Hannes and I had to hear from hospital staff that 35 weeks is a very dangerous time for a baby to be born, some kept going on that Brigiette can be a very sick baby and that she can be in ICU for months!
I just told Hannes that I don’t believe it, she is kicking so hard and her name means strength, she is going to be just fine. Many fellow believers prayed with us and Hannes and I were so calm, trusting God.
On the 12th of April 2013 at 5pm, Brigiette was born via a C-section, she didn’t need any oxygen, her Apgar score was 9/10! She had to go to ICU due to an infection. Apparently a baby’s sucking reflex isn’t developed fully at 35 weeks, I didn’t know this, and she had to be breastfed as the breast milk would help clear this infection!
Thankfully my heavenly Father knew this and were a couple of steps ahead. God provided a nurse who usually worked in another ward had to help out in the ICU at that time, she had many years of experience of breastfeeding, etc. She was so patient, sitting with me until Brigiette latched on correctly and was feeding perfectly! She said that in all her time of nursing she never saw a “late prem” baby feeding this well and being this content.
On the 3rd day in hospital Brigiette and I were released to go home.
What an awesome God we serve! It doesn’t matter what people say, our God can do that which seems impossible to man. All the glory to our heavenly Father.
