At the end of 2023, they made the decision to open their hearts to foster care. It was not an easy decision, especially since Louis was not yet employed full-time at the time. It required faith—a deep trust that God would provide.
In January 2024, they received a call to take in a little boy of about 16–18 months old. From the very first moment, he stole their hearts. He is a precious child and quickly became part of their lives.
Shortly afterward, they experienced God’s faithfulness in a remarkable way. In February, Louis received a permanent job—a clear confirmation that God truly provides.
Their greatest prayer is that this little boy will come to know peace and personally experience the love of God. He is very sporty, and they pray that one day his talents will be used to honor the Lord. There is also a need for continued prayer for the things he does not yet understand—that God will guide and protect him.
Please also pray for them as parents—for wisdom and guidance, so that they may raise him according to the will of God.
