Our Journey to Foster Care: A Testimony of Faith and Healing

We are a busy, active family of four who are passionate about sport, culture, and a healthy lifestyle. Above all, we are passionate about putting God first in everything we do.

Our story is one of heartbreak turned into hope, and how the Lord prepared us for a path we could never have planned ourselves.

Three years ago, we hoped for one last baby to complete our family. At 16 weeks, however, we received the news that our baby had Trisomy 15, and the pregnancy sadly did not survive. It was a very challenging time, especially as I and the children live with rare health conditions—an autoinflammatory disease and the STAT1 gene, which makes our immune systems vulnerable.

After three years of healing, we were physically and emotionally ready to try for another pregnancy. But God had a different plan. Early in February, we heard that there were children in need of a safe home.

From day one, my husband and I made it a matter of prayer. The Lord gave us clear Scripture confirming that this was His will and that we should say “YES.” The two-month application process with Child Welfare became a time of immense growth. The Lord not only prepared our hearts for the children, but also for their mother.

While we waited—with only two photos and the promises from the Word as our anchor—we even wrote a special AI song for them to express our hope and love.

Their journey is 100% in God’s hands. They are His children; we are simply the instruments He has chosen to invest in their lives.

Please pray for us—for wisdom, and also for provision, as we welcome two new little ones into our home.
